What is Hatha Flow?

Hatha Yoga Classes in Chicago on the Northside

Hatha Yoga is an incredibly popular way of doing yoga all over the world. Hatha Yoga employs postures and Pranayama in combination with mental focus to increase self-awareness, body strength and flexibility, and relaxation. Through proper alignment and mindful action, Hatha Flow will brings balance, strength, and a sense of well-being to your practice.

Our Hatha Flow class is not ‘hot yoga’.  We may do two or three sun salutations to warm the body and the rest of the class we will hold postures for several breath cycles.  Basically the postures will flow from one to the other with longer holds.  All movement is synchronized with your breathing, transitioning from one pose to the next on either an inhale or exhale.

More physically demanding than the regular Hatha class, Flow helps improve your strength, flexibility, and stamina.

Hatha Flow Tuesday evenings at 7 pm
